DESIGNING A GLOBAL MOBILE PHONE BRAND TREND & INNOVATION PLATFORM

CONTEXT & OBJECTIVES

A global leading mobile phone brand was looking for new strategies & innovation guidelines to better stand out in a global crowded market at a moment of international development’s acceleration.

3 Teams based in Paris and Asia were involved in the project: product design, marketing, communications, and retail & events.

Priority was to set a global vision of consumer & design trends starting with the macro sociocultural trends as the source of all other strategic guidelines

In order to accelerate the transformation of this complex information into actionable recommendations, we led a process of close collaboration & co-creation with the different Teams.
We formalized design language for product development & design, aesthetic guidelines for communications in order to create a coherent emotional experience for the Brand acfross touch points, and strategic guidelines to enable some significant changes in their brand platform
